When my husband and I first decided that we wanted to buy a house, we immediately contacted Johanna. She had helped two couples that we’re close friends with buy their first houses and they had nothing but amazingly good things to say about her. We knew from our first meeting that we were in good hands. Johanna was well-informed, well-spoken, and was incredibly patient with teaching us the ins and outs of the house buying process.
Over the next 8 months, Johanna was our constant. She emailed us houses that fit our criteria, showed us the ones we wanted to check out (even when she knew we wouldn’t like them), and was always available on email or cell to answer any of our questions no matter how big or small. When we asked for her opinion (on more than a few occasions), Johanna was always honest with us and made it clear that she wanted us to end up in a house that we loved and would be safe in.
When we finally found the house, Johanna absolutely shined. She helped us write a strong offer, recommended equally as amazing inspectors and lenders, and was tenacious and persistent during some tough and frustrating negotiations. We’re now in the process of moving into a house that we love and we cannot thank Johanna enough for everything she did for us.
*Ben’s great too! He showed us a few houses when Johanna was out of town. He was very knowledgeable about the Portland market and it was clear to us that he had our best interests in mind.
